Hi, my name is Charlie and my recently departed wife’s name was Lynda so the name ChuckLyn for this website came naturally.

I’ve always been a curious person who tends to dig into subjects that arouse my interest. That’s a good thing because at age 91, it's helping me avoid brain rot disease.

It recently occurred to me that some of the things I focus on might be interesting or even helpful to others. This led me to create my own website, which I am dedicating to my immediate family Kelly, Thomas, Emmy, Felicia and Dustin.

My current passion is how to shorten American English words for use in common texting on social media platforms or private note taking.
